Localecheck measures text the way a search engine or a character counter will. It is not affiliated with Google or any other search engine, and it cannot promise a ranking, a click-through rate, or that a snippet will look the same next month — those change without notice on their side.
Every tool is free and needs no signup. You are welcome to use it commercially, on client work, at any volume.
You need an account only to hold credits. Keep the password to yourself; anything done through your account counts as done by you. One person, one account — do not share a login to pool credits.
If an account is used that way we may suspend it. Credits on a suspended account are handled under the refunds policy, not forfeited silently.
The service is provided as it is. Measurements are computed from font metrics and the East Asian Width property, which is the best available model of a search result — not a photograph of one. Text that fits according to this site may still be truncated by a browser we cannot see.
If something goes wrong, what we owe is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the problem. We are not liable for lost traffic, lost rankings or lost revenue.
Prices and features can change. A change never applies backwards to credits you already hold, and material changes get a note on this page with a new date at the top.
Write to [email protected] first — most things are a misunderstanding. Anything that cannot be settled that way goes to the courts of the place where the operator of this site is established.
