What the AI rewrite will process, what it refuses, and how the refusal is enforced.

What the AI touches Prohibited content Minors How it is enforced Where the line sits If it happens Reporting Changes

The short version

  • Sexual, pornographic and other NSFW content is not accepted. Requests containing it are refused.
  • Anything involving the sexual exploitation of minors is refused, reported, and ends the account.
  • Refusals happen before the model is called, so a refused request costs you nothing.

What the AI touches

Localecheck has one AI feature: it rewrites a page title, meta description or keyword so it renders narrower on screen in a given language. Nothing else on this site calls a language model. The rewrite takes one string of text you supply, returns three shorter candidates in the same language, and records that a credit was spent — not the text itself.

Because that feature sends text off this site to a third-party model, what may be sent is limited here, the way a mail provider limits what may be sent through it.

Prohibited content

You may not submit any of the following to the rewrite feature, in any language, directly or by implication, including as a euphemism, abbreviation, deliberate misspelling or obfuscation:

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit text of any kind, including descriptions of sexual acts, explicit anatomy, and sexualised advertising copy.
  • Content promoting, advertising or linking to adult services — escort services, adult cam sites, sexual content subscription platforms, or similar.
  • Sexual content involving minors, in any form, real or simulated.
  • Sexual content that is non-consensual, coerced, incestuous, or that depicts bestiality.
  • Content intended to harass, threaten or defame a person, or to disclose their private information.
  • Content that is unlawful in the country where you publish it.

The list is not exhaustive. The rule behind it is simple: this is a tool for search-result copy, and sexual content of any kind is outside what it is for.

Minors

Sexualised content involving minors is refused unconditionally, and it is the one category where a refusal does not end with an apology and a refunded credit. Accounts that submit it are terminated, and the material is preserved and reported to the competent authority, as required by applicable law.

How it is enforced

The prohibition is not only a sentence on this page. Three things happen on every rewrite request, in this order:

  • Input screening. The submitted text is checked against a blocklist of sexual and adult terms in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and French — before anything is sent anywhere. A match ends the request on the spot.
  • No charge on refusal. Screening runs before credits are reserved. A refused request returns an error, leaves your balance untouched, and is not retried.
  • Output filtering. The model is instructed never to produce sexual or NSFW wording, and anything it returns that trips the same check is discarded rather than shown to you.

Where the line sits

Terms whose adult meaning dominates are refused outright, in every context — porn, nsfw, hentai, escort, and their equivalents in the languages listed above. There is no attempt to work out whether a particular use is innocent. A refused title costs you one rephrase; a prohibition that quietly lets the obvious query through is worth nothing, and that is the one thing anyone testing this policy will try.

Words that are ordinary commercial language in most contexts are not on the list: nude (a colour, a leather finish), sexy (a design line). Blocking those would refuse honest work every day, and a filter that cries wolf is a filter people route around.

The trade is conscious: firm on the unambiguous, silent on the ambiguous, plus output filtering. If a legitimate string of yours is refused, write to [email protected] with the wording and it is reviewed by hand.

If it happens

A refused request costs nothing and carries no penalty — the common cause is an innocent collision, not intent. Repeated attempts to push sexual content through, especially by obfuscation, end the account. Unused credits on a closed account are handled under the refunds policy, not forfeited silently.

Reporting

If you believe this site has processed content that breaks this policy, write to [email protected]. Reports are read daily, and a report about content involving minors is acted on immediately.

Changes

This policy can be tightened as the feature changes. A material change gets a new date at the top of this page, and a change never applies backwards to work already delivered.
